Poorly designed

The designers of this oven have clearly never really baked anything in their entire life as it has to many technical flaws to list them all. 1st off the oven fluxuates by 50 degrees F. both above and below the setting. In other words set at 350 degrees will cause the oven to fluxuate between 300 400 degrees during baking process so forget about baking altogether as baking require more precise temperature control. LG says fluxuations cant be avoided this is true by a few degrees but not 50 Then theres the rack itself. Forget about making a crisp pizza as the tines on the rack are too far apart to put anything directly on the rack as it will fall through. And what in the world did they paint this appliance with as I have never in all my 60 years of cooking had an oven that attracks and holds food particles grease as extremely as this one does. Seriously I have to use 3 different cleansers to get it clean. And do not ever use the cooktop without cleaning it first because if you do the dirt will bake on to the surface will become a permanent splotch.

Purchased this double oven range a few weeks ago and so far so good. Oven temperatures seem true. Baked cookies and they came out perfect at the specified time. Also really like the burners. They instantly come on and are powerful. The ultra burner heats up water at an amazing rate.

Nice concept bad electronic mechanics

I purchased my unit 10/2020 and have had nothing but problems since we had it installed. We have had the repairman out 4 times to replace the motherboard. The oven at times acts as if it is possessed. It will turn itself on the light will go on and off at random times it locks and unlocks itself it resets the clock by itself and in addition this is after the last repair was done approximately 3 weeks ago. If I lock it to create a safer environment for my home it just unlocks itself. The only thing we are able to do is unplug it then plug it back in when we want to use it. The chrome/stainless steel front has begun to show rust spots and the oven does not regulate the temperature well. It is either too hot or too cold to bake evenly. It was really a bad decision for us as we had never purchased an LG product before. I know in the future we will stay far far away from LG. I really had my hopes up for this to be a winning oven/range as I am a chef who also loves to bake but alas this will be my one and only LG. The repairman is coming again later this week and hopefully they will take it away as a lemon and give us our money back.

A great range

The 5 burner range is fantastic. From the low burner to the high output burner and the griddle burner all work like they are supposed to with even heat. The double ovens are also very nice. The heat from one oven does not go into the other oven when not in use so no wasted energy. Cleaning is a snap on this well constructed range which feels like a very solid appliance which looks beautiful in the kitchen. Overall this is a great range.

I am no too familiar with Gas ranges. I had one for a short time in New Mexico. I was pleased to be able to have one in my present home. I love the convenience of gas cooking. I love the double oven to allow for multiple items being cooked at different temperatures and times. I love the ease of cleaning the top. I hated my glass top electric range because of the baked on food which would not be cleaned unless I used a razor blade which then scratched the top. I dont have the problem with this range. Yayee Did I mention I love my new gas range?

Terrible Oven design

From the start the ovens double oven have had major heating issues. When it buzzes to notify the oven has reached temperature it is as much as 85* below the set temperature. It can take up to 30 minutes to get CLOSE to the desired temperature and that is only in the back right corner. During the cooking cycle the temperature varies up to 100* lower is some parts of the oven while burning in the back. Customer service phone agents are poor. The two I dealt with refused to address MY issues made us jump through all kinds of hoops which we did. Rest oven temperatures etc. Finally after repeatly asking to speak to a Supervisor in the second call he talked to one and I was given a service tech confirmation number. The service tech Aldo was great. He is currently working on continuing to jump through the hoops to try ordering a new computer board and resolve the issue. This is questionable because the thermocouple is in the back right corner. This issue probably cant be resolved because the thermocouple is in a poor location for even distribution of heat. Very disappointed. We have had LG kitchens in our past three houses and never had any issues. I want this oven to be replaced. It has a defective design.

Hate everything about it

Unfortunately this oven came with the purchase of my new home. Top rack burns everything on the bottom. I heated up taco shells I literally put them in the oven and THEN preheated to 325. Took them out in 5 minutes and they were burnt on the bottom. Same with crescent rolls gooey on top burnt on the bottom. HATE THIS.

Stovetop scratches too easily while cleaning. Grates scratch the stovetop while replacing them. Water spots stain the burner tops and are difficult to clean. LG customer service is non existent. Horrible. Nice people working for the President but no results. Extremely disappointed in this product.

Nice but not so nice

To start off got the range delivered and used it one time and everything worked great then a few days latter was going to cook bacon in the oven and top oven would not light. Called for service and was outside the 48 hour replacement window. But are going to send a repair person out in a month and a half so waiting on repairs. But bottom oven and stove top works great heats up very fast and cook well but I hope that the quality is there and everything keep working down the road

Stove of my dreams

I had a gas stove when I was growing up and loved it. Ever since I have always wanted one. My LDG4313ST has been the stove of my dreams. The double oven is so convenient I dont know how I made due with only one oven my whole life. I can have crusts baking in one oven at 425 while my quiche is baking in the other. It is even more of a God send on holidays family gatherings. I absolutely adore the center burner . I use a cast iron griddle to cook breakfast on every morning. It is easy to keep clean and a joy to cook on.

Horrible. Stove may cause house fire

I purchased the range about a week or two. I started cooking and it malfunctioned. It will need a new computer board. Im not happy with that but I do like the oven because I did start working it and it cooks great. Im still getting use to the product because it has specific instructions on how to place cookwares and it not aluminium friendly.

Nice oven but I dont like burnt food

We purchased our oven at the end of September and it was delivered in October 2022. Its a great oven however the top oven burns everything and has a horrible gas smell. Only the top oven does this not the lower one. Has anyone else experienced this? Sometimes we even get an error code F9. Not sure why the oven does come up to temperature.

LG PRO BAKE DOUBLE OVEN 1/7/2023

This range is excellent. Whoever designed it really put a lot of thought in to it. Everything about it is luxurious. All of the burners are powerful. The right back burner is for simmering. The knobs are a pleasure to touch. The convection oven and broiler is top notch. The way the fan powerfully blows the heat around. So far everything I have made in them came out perfect. I fried some ribs and then put it in the broiler for about 3 and a half minutes and they came out crispy and perfect. Thats one of the main reasons why I picked this range. I did some cookies in the oven which is located at the bottom and they came out picture perfect and was cooked to perfection. I love all of the features. The back panel is attractive another thing that I fell in love with while searching for a range and easy to maneuver and understand. Plus its self cleaning When the plumber came to hook up the range to the gas line he tested the range to make sure everything was good. He started raving about how wonderful the range is and he told me that my cooking game was elevated I was wondering if he secretly worked for LG But he doesnt. The range really is all that and way more. Theres so many features and shes a beauty and a pleasure. The continuous grates are a real life saver like when you need to move a hot heavy pot off of a burner. I can go on and on. The bottom oven is low BUT Id rather take a hot pan out from the bottom than way up high. Its safer . Also cleaning the outside all you need is a clean wet rag with a little dish soap and it wipes up wonderfully. I had been dreaming of owning this range for three years and now that I do I am so satisfied with my purchase. Most ranges these days doesnt even have a broiler anymore just a storage draw. This range has everything that the ranges of yesteryears had but way more. I didnt even speak on that beautiful fifth burner in the middle This range is everything a person who loves to cook and have beautiful things. Its also like a beautiful piece of jewelry for the kitchen. I did NOT receive this range as a promotion. I purchased it and its truly worth every dollar

Love the double ovens but....

I bought this range for the double oven feature. Range was installed just in time for my marathon Christmas cookie baking. Sadly the top oven heats a bit uneven. I had burned cookies on the same sheet where I had perfect cookies. I need to research if I can calibrate the oven temperature.

I purchased this oven in October of 2022 and have been very impressed. It has lived up to the high rating that the salesperson promoted. It has been a little challenging to understand all of the features available however when one reads the operation manual the instructions are quite easy. Being a guy I try to avoid reading the instructions whenever possible because I think I am very smart. I was easily able to operate the system however there were some functions that I just needed help with. The manual was easy to understand. One problem I have encountered is the stainless steel did not appreciate the use of a rough cleaning pad that I used to clean the oven and I scratched the surface pretty significantly. The same pad used on my old system also stainless never had a problem. Other than that great experience from start to finish I bought this along with the French door refrigerator microwave and dishwasher. It is a beautiful set

Very nice unit. Very nice unit. We really like the idea of two ovens. Often meals include two different items requiring different temps. and cooking times. Real happy with this range. Only one drawback is that racks dont slide in and out very easy.

At the time of ordering the oven was delivered installed and the condition was to take the used one but the delivery man said he did not have a license to install a gas oven so he left it alone and no one contacted me. I cant use it yet.

Were happy to be back to a gas range and this hasnt disappointed. If I had one complaint the ThinQ set up was very frustrating. I could not get it to work. It doesnt seem to work with iPhones. Oh I love the timer jingle.

The oven and stove top have been great but if I had to change anything Id make it so the burners can be turned down more than they can. Only one summer burner - all the other burners run very high even at their lowest setting. Also if you need to find the serial tag it is hiding on the inside of a hanging metal tab. It took us a long time to find it

We were so excited when we ordered our new gas stove We have only a little experience cooking with gas but both were happy to be switching over at home. First let me say that you need to read the instructions carefully regarding which burner cover goes where. We assumed that the guys who delivered and installed would have put them on correctly but they didnt and the flames were kind of scary on one burner in particular that we were afraid to use it. Once we discovered the problem the flame is perfect on every burner The reason for giving only 4 stars is the difficulty of cleaning the stove top to my satisfaction. Ive been rather frustrated because no matter what I have tried the porcelain top always has greasy looking smears Its driving me crazy Previously we had a ceramic cooktop and I was a fanatic about keeping it clean an shiny. And did not have a hard time doing so. I think Ive tried four different cleaners and get the same result with all of them And Ive tried drying it with paper towels and a soft cotton kitchen towel but that hasnt helped. We havent had an opportunity to benefit from the double oven yet but Thanksgiving is coming but it has already been nice to only need to heat a small oven for our everyday needs It heats up fast and cooks very evenly. We havent had it long enough to need to clean either oven but Im excited to see how the steam clean works

The best thing that could happen is that LG would allow me to exchange this double oven range for a single oven range. I am an older woman that has an extremely hard time with the hights of the ovens. Also I have to try and compensate for EVERY recipe for both the temperature and bake time. Extremely unhappy with the product.

We bought this range one year ago and Ive had nothing but trouble since. Every time I bake its never the same. I bake for special events and Christmas for people and I have to watch everything I put in there. Never can I just leave some thing and know that its going to be OK. Today I was baking chocolate chip cookies and after the 12 minutes they were still in the original form as when I put them in. I put an oven thermometer in and instead of it reading 350as the oven said it was only 250. If I try to run both ovens at the same time the top gets too hot because the bottom is putting heat into it. I hate it hate it hate it Now since Ill be starting Christmas baking we have to buy a new oven. This was such a waste of money and we dont have money to waste. Also the lower oven is so low I have to kneel on the floor to put something in or take something out if it. As a senior that isnt the best design.
