Since 09/22 we have attempted by phone and email to either have it repaired or a refund given to no avail. We will never purchase another LG product. I have had the refrigerator for a few weeks. I love the convenience of the door that holds just the milk etc. without having to open the entire refrigerator. I adore the round ice cubesso fun. Lastly I am a big fan of the convertible drawer which is currently set to deli. All the things I complained about in my last refrigerator seem to have been corrected in this model. I am very happy.

We have had this fridge for around six months. The fridge part is huge and gives us lots of space and the extra French door is a great addition for drinks. The freezer size is a little small but we can utilize the drinks drawer as a freezer if needed.

So far it is very similar and has the features we appreciated about the old one and some updates which make it better. My wife and I really like our new refrigerator. Love the door in door feature. The only thing that Im not super thrilled about is the ice and water dispenser. It seems like you have to push a button to wake up the refrigerator then push the same button again to switch to that selection. You cannot switch selections midstream either. Like if you are dispensing ice and want to switch to water you have to pull the cup away push the button and then put the cup back in the dispenser.

Overall great arrangement of shelves and drawers. The flex drawer is fantastic. The lower freezer is very easy to keep organized due to the top shelf and bottom buckets. The round ice is the best. THE BEST. Its funny how a simple glass of water with a single round ice cube can just make your day.

Love the craft ice feature

Love It but issues

Love it but there are issues. The inside shelves as set by the factory do not allow for a regular bottle of vinegar etc to stand up - it is about 1/2 too short. So there are some creative ways you have to stack your storage. Love the deli drawer and freezer. The craft ball ice maker already died less than 2 months and we had to get a replacement - which was a longer ordeal with getting service from the original vendor and finally LG sent their own repairman. Glad I bought the extended warranty. But we were without the craft balls for the Easter holiday. I like the large spaces and also love the door - we went without glass to see through but it is great for the OJ Milk and condiments you use regularly.

Love it but set up was difficult

We received our new fridge a few weeks ago. Bigger than we thought but still fits. All the features are terrific from the craft ice to the cooling drawer. Its so deep my wife cant reach the back of the top shelf. After install we were having issues getting the fridge to the set internal temperature. The fridge does not tell you internal temp just the set temp. After a week we started noticing protective tape and film in corners of the doors over vents covering the back stainless steel inside. We now seem to have the temperature getting to the right temp. Lg should use blue tape and film to make sure the end user can locate all of them to minimize any false failures and not have the user panicking that they have a bad unit. Also still cant get the Wi-Fi to work. My lg dishwasher connected fine. Can not figure it out. Overall a great fridge.

Big but VERY Quiet

The physical size and internal capacity of this refrigerator is VERY large. Despite that it runs very very quiet. Some refrigerators in a defrost/reduce internal humidity cycle are subject to noise. This unit is bright open adjustable and the mini door in the front for frequently accessed items like coffee cream is a super nice touch. I reserve the option of updating this review at 6 months 1 year and 2 years. Our last refrigerator lasted 22 years and we hope this one is with us for decades.

Major failure

Still on the fence 4/17/2023

Freezer went warm Compressor failed replaced Still not cooling condenser ordered Condenser replaced Still not working Replace evaporator and clogged return line Now refrigerator over cooling and freezer warm Fifth trip asked for total replacement and granted Third trip damages to wood floors and waiting on the resolution of that After a month new refrigerator arrived and scheduled delivery by RKO. Never showed finally arrived three days later. Delivery crew was excellent and waiting to cool to install our goods Hopefully this will be better than the last one

First...we love the layout of the refrigerator..love the look the two tier ice makers and the large interior. The cube ice maker makes round ice cubes is SLOW..3 every 24. The instructions talk about switching to 6 cubes but does not tell you how to reset it. So if you plan to entertain with these ice cubes..plan VERY far ahead. The top through the door ice maker works great. We picked this refrigerator because we liked its look liked its features and did not like its competition...kinda lesser of evils. We cant talk about quality or customer service-other reviews help us question our decision but we will see how this refrigerator performs and how quality/customer is should we need it in the future. Other than that..for now..we love the refrigerator.

Our brand new refrigerator lasted exactly one month before the compressor went out. And the wi-if enabled feature on the phone app didnt alert us for a full 48 hours. By that time everything in the refrigerator and freezer was completely ruined. To top it off we are still without a working refrigerator a full 2 weeks later. The part has been delivered to the repair company and they cant get out to install it for another week. By that time itll be 3 1/2 weeks without a working unit. Please help us win the $500 so we can replace all the food we lost. This has been the worst buying experience ever Never buying LG again

This refrigerator and freezer is enormous. Both compartments can store a lot of food. If you do not like to go shopping often you can stock up on supplies and store them in this LG unit. The unit does not make noise which is another plus. The shelves in the fridge and freezer are nice and wide.

My New Best Friend

I was lucky enough to have my last refrigerator for 20+ years and it was finally time to get something new. I have never had an appliance with so many great features and it changed my idea of what an appliance should be. First there is so much room with this configuration. It fits my needs to a tee. Second the water in my community is very heavy so the built in filter helped me get rid of my Brita. I didnt realize how much better ice tastes now. I love the double tab light feature that save me time openning the door to look for things and the door-in-the-door feature is ideal for those grab and go moments. So smart Finally my wife loves the craft ice. Its perfect for her And again so much freezer space to work with... amazing. We loved our old frig but you dont know what you dont know and now I am sold on our new best friend in the kitchen. Great Job LG.

We purchased this refrigerator in December of 2020. I love the design and the interior arrangements of the shelves and drawers. However we have replaced the craft ice maker twice in two years and now the compressor went bad and wasnt cooling the refrigerator properly. The compressor was replaced and the next morning I woke up to water on the floor from melted ice and a very warm fridge. I called the service center for an emergency repair. I was told they would put in the request and theyd get back to me with a service time in 5-7 day. I even gave them the name of the company that put in the compressor but they said they cant call them. What?????? Ill never purchase another LG product. Lucky for me I live in a cold climate so I can put my food on the deck and in the garbage.

Worst fridge ever

Bought March 2022 and LG has sent repair twice to fix a manufacturing defect. The unit is out of square so the shelf is unusable. Literally the front of shelf doesnt touch the side of the fridge wall 3/4 inch gap. Another major issue is craft ice maker. Continuously freezes and then doesnt work. Customer service is just as bad. Never a straight answer. Always saying they need something more. The repair person sent a photo the first time then sent 9 photos the second time. LG says they have them and yet still no resolution from them.

We are very disappointed with this refrigerator. We bought it specifically because it made craft ice but about 3 months ago the ice maker stopped working. The regular ice maker clogs if we go away for more than three days and has to be emptied upon our return. We love the spaciousness the drawer that either freezes or cools - theres much to recommend this appliance. However the ice making units are faulty and we cant seem to find a way to fix them. We would never recommend this to anyone.
